Becky and Nate -- Salt Lake Temple -- Wedded Bliss!

These two make the cutest couple. I've never seen a happier bride than Becky. She was absolutely radiant! It was such a pleasure to be their photographer (along with my AWESOME sister-in-law Mindy!) I still have many, many pictures to go through, but here are some of my favorites so far. I like the posed shots, but I think my most favorites are the candids....you can just see the joy in Becky and Nate's faces in those.

Missed Me?

Wow, I haven't blogged in a long time. We've got this major home improvement project going on that has been consuming my life. We are having our entire main level painted, but before the painting could begin all the wallpaper had to come down. The people who lived in this house before us really really REALLY liked wallpaper. It took a week to take it all down. A week of sweat, toil, hard labor...I know you're all feeling so sorry for me now.

The painter started on Monday. He is doing a wonderful job. I LOVE the way the living room looks. Once I get everything all put back, I will like it even better and will take a picture.

Here's a fun picture from a couple of weeks ago. Some photog friends and I got together...all of them had kids in tow, but me.. Mine are all in school. We dragged them all over to several urban locations in downtown SLC. Janae thought we should get a picture of them all together.

So, here's the line-up! Check out Jen's little girl on the far right. Yeah...haven't we all felt like that? Too bad you can't just do that as an adult. Sometimes I've felt like it!

Becky's Bridals

Becky is absolutely beautiful, and so much fun to work with. She is comfortable in front of the camera and looked stunning in her wedding dress.

Helena -- The Birthday Girl!

As promised -- portraits of (almost) 1-year-old Helena! Her birthday is later this month. She is one of the cutest little babies ever, don't you think? What a sweet little face and squishy little cheeks. She was so cooperative and happy throughout her portrait session...and it was not the warmest day...only in the 40s. She did great until the very end when she fell backwards and hit her head on the window behind her. She was fine, but probably a little scared at the way Kate and I jumped toward her and gasped. Whew!

When I Grow Up

This week, the Cub Scouts went on a field trip to the Timber Mill. Our neighbor Jared is an owner of this custom cabinetry shop, and he was nice enough to let the scouts come over and see what goes on where he works since our Cub Scout theme this month is "When I Grow Up". Thanks, Jared!

Happy Birthday Austin!

Today is my nephew Austin's 17th birthday. We celebrated as a family last night with dinner at Jan's house, as well as the traditional opening of gifts and eating of the cake! Yum!
