London and Tank {Part 2}

Brigham City Temple

Over the weekend, leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints dedicated the Brigham City, Utah Temple. 

This was an exciting event for me because I grew up in Brigham City. I attended Central Elementary School, which was torn down in later years. The school property stood vacant for quite some time, and then in 2009, it was announced that a temple would be built there.

I have had the opportunity to travel to Brigham City and visit the temple grounds a number of times recently.  An open house took place for about a month prior to the dedication, and I attended that twice -- once with the young women in my ward and once with my family. On another evening, I had a photo session in a town near Brigham City, so I made sure I had time to stop and take some pictures of the temple.

And here they are! It is still so incredible to me that this beautiful building stands now as the most prominent feature of my lovely little hometown. :)

Butters Family

This family was so great to work with.  Sometimes doing a large family group proves to be less than....well.....fun.

Not so with this family. They were great and so cooperative....and best of all, so photogenic! :)

Baby Emma

My nephew Sean and his wife Brooke became parents this week!

And I was lucky enough to go visit Baby Emma in the hospital and take some pictures.
She is cute as can be!

We took these shots when we were on our vacation over the summer, but I'm just now getting around to posting them because I have been a slacker about blog posting until recently!! :)

Return to Summer

We had a fabulous summer vacation in California with Derek's brother and his family.

I also had the chance to do family portraits for them on the beach.
