A Hero's Homecoming

I had the privilege of photographing the homecoming of some Utah troops coming home from Kuwait recently. What an emotional experience. We were able to go right to the gate to greet them. What fun it was to see these husbands and dads greet their wives and children.

Welcome Home!

Then, last week, I did portraits for one of these awesome families. Too much fun!!

Proud to be an American

What a privilege it was recently to do portraits for these two military families whose husbands/dads deployed this week to spend a year in Iraq. God bless all of you for your service and dedication to our country.

Operation Love Reunited

A while back, I became a volunteer photographer for Operation Love Reunited. This organization provides photography for military members and their families. We do photo sessions for families before a soldier deploys, on the day the solider leaves or, in the case of the these photos (and the happiest time of all) when the soldier returns.

I am so happy I could be there to capture these photos of the Garn family welcoming home their husband and daddy, who had been serving in Afghanistan for almost a year.

Welcome home!!!
