We Are Thankful for the Cougars!

Yay! Today our beloved BYU Cougars beat their rivals, the University of Utah Utes in the 2007 rivalry football game. It was a nailbiter to the very end... but once again BYU came away victorious!!! Yahoo! One more thing to be grateful for this Thanksgiving season. Go Cougs!

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to the Christmas season! The kids are always so excited for the day after Thanksgiving because we get to put up the tree. I collect Nativities, so there are probably 50-60 Nativity sets throughout the house and numerous Nativity ornaments on the tree, as well.

We spent Thanksgiving at my sister's cabin. It was a lot of fun. I took a picture of my nephew and his family for them to use on their Christmas cards. Also did some candids throughout the day...

Fun in the Studio!

I had such a fun time today doing portraits of my nephew and his adorable little family. I also learned that when it comes to photographing babies and toddlers, the key word is "Hurry!" I would have loved continuing to snap away because they are so cute, but the little ones were having none of that. When we were done, that was it! But I was able to get some cute shots, I think. Thanks you guys for giving me a chance to practice more with my studio lights!

Long Time No Post!

It's been a long time since my last post! Life seems to zoom by too fast! I had a great time Saturday with my photography friends. We've started a Utah photographers group, and we met at Wheeler Farm on Saturday to do some practice shooting with models we all provided. It was a great learning experience and so much fun! I'm looking forward to our next meeting already! Here are a few shots from that day. Thanks everyone for a really great time!
