Focus on Candids!

It seems like sometimes I get so caught up in trying to get a "perfect" shot that I neglect capturing everyday moments. When we were visiting family in AZ over Christmas, there was no shortage of candid opportunities. Today, I'm posting a few of those. This is Payton. I was trying out my sister-in-law's 85mm 1.8 lens. Love that lens. Not sure I'd love it more than my 24-70 2.8, though, so I guess I'll have to resist buying it!

One of the best parts of visiting Arizona in the winter is eating oranges fresh off the tree! Here's my nephew Evan's response to this juicy morsel!

Little Miss Sydney has the most adorable eyes. She always has the sweetest expressions on her face, too!

Payton is too cute, your exposure looks really good on this photo.
I love candids, they always tell so much of a story.

I love these! I am bad about getting so worried about taking a masterpiece shot every time and I miss the "good stuff". Thanks for the reminder!
