Hats off to American Girls!

I'm actually following the theme today. In our household, I have three sons, one daughter and two American Girl dolls, Kit and Julie, whose upkeep and accessories are about as expensive as real live girls!

I love the hats these dolls have. They look so cute in them. I'm certain if I wore something like that, I would look absolutely ridiculous.

The last photo includes my daughter. She's been sick the last few days and still looks a bit pale, but she wanted to be in one of the pictures with her dolls.

We were in Chicago a couple of months ago and saw the American Girls store there... I can't wait for Christiana to get old enough for dolls like that... She just turned one on Christmas Day

Wow! I remember reading American Girls books when I was young. My favorite was Samantha! Haha. I don't recall there being dolls! Lucky girls now. :)

love these. my dd is 10 and she has maplelea dolls (canadian version of the american girl)

she absolutley LOVES them to death. she has 3 now.

i love the fact that even though she's 10, she still wants to play with dolls. most of her friends are way past that stage. i'm not ready for that yet.... and i'm glad that she's not either! :)

Hee hee hee--great catchlights on those first 2! These are the kinds of "people" pictures I should take, where the subjects cooperate!

Very sharp. I must admit that dolls/doll photos can be freaky to me. My DD had a My Twinn doll when she was little that creeped me out more than once :-D

Cute shots! I had a ton of girls (4th and 5th grade) when I taught who were obsessed with American Girl dolls.... it was funny to watch them bring them to school.
