Not on the "word" theme today, but I guess I could say that words cannot describe the love I have for this girl. I want to say "little girl", but she's really not that little anymore! She's 11! She's my only daughter... she puts up with a lot having three brothers! I set up the strobe lights today because her friend is coming over for some portraits, so Mallory was kind enough to let me practice my lighting set-up on her!
I welcome and appreciate CC! Do you like how that first pose of her is a lot like my self-portrait from a few days ago? I just realized that!

What a precious little angel you have there..
Oh Mallory is a cutie! I really adore the black and white here.
She is just beautiful!
The similarity to your self-portrait was the first thing I noticed, Meg. She's adorable. My DD is 11 too (well, she'll be 12 next month).
What a sweetie. I hear you on the love for a DD but mine is 9 so I still can call her my baby for a few more years ;)
Do you have the settings for your shot? It will help in the CC department. I'm not much of a studio shooter, but they appear dark and a bit dull. Not the subject, just the lighting;) Does that make sense? She's got a terrific smile by the way, looks like her mom.
The color photos are great!
Oh she is adorable. Nice she would sit down and pose for you
So pretty!! Love the black and white it looks so crisp.
She's a cutie! I agree that they look a bit dark, but I know zilch about studio lighting...
So cute! I love her name...I also really like the black and white one!

She's beautiful and I love the conversion on the 2nd one...also...I had to look twice to realize that was you since you changed your avatar...great self portrait!
She's beautiful, and looks just like you!
She has such a great smile. Great shots!

Very nice lighting and adorable daughter you have!
It IS really like your photo, and I especially like the first photo of the 3. I like her pose, her facial expression, and how the light is reflected in her hair. She's beautiful!
Awww how nice of her to help you out. She looks great in these. On your light/lights I would trying opening up your F stop, or down your SS at least a stop. :)
She is so pretty! There is a strong mommy daughter resemblance.
I like these! I find that the crop of #1/#2 is distracting--I'd like to see more of her belt/dress, or less. Just the hint of a different color draws my eye there instead of to her sweet face.
hey, my daughter is 9 and has 3 brothers too! your daughter is beautiful.
I am in love with the b&w one. It is beautiful.
I have to say I really like the black and white one here. Shes gorgeous.
