A Spoonful (or more) of Sugar

Happy Valentine's Day! Today I helped with my son's class party. What a blast! I was helping the kids make cards... Took a break for a minute to see what was happening at the cookie decorating station. Today's shot is a prime example of what happens when you let 7-year-olds loose with sugar cookies, frosting, sprinkles, M&Ms and other sugar-loaded goodies galore! I get cavities (and a stomachache) just looking at this creation! None for me, thanks! I'll just stick to mint chocolate truffles!

I appreciate those who gave me great advice and encouragement regarding my photography slump. Thanks!

Happy Valentines Day! Sounds like the day I had today! I was also at school, but with 9 year olds... Fun, fun! Love that picture... perfectly focused.

This photo is awesome! Love the depth of field, but it gives me a stomachache just looking at it. Were the supplies provided by the local dentist?

I would loved to have seen what the chef responsible for this monstrosity (oops, creation) looked like after it was finished. I always noticed in my kids' classes that at least as much went in the cook as went on the cookie!

Holy Mole! I would eat that in a second!

I love the angle, DOF, and colors. And such a perfect shot of a typical 7yo food creation!
