Macro...again...


I really want this macro lens to become my friend, but I wasn't too thrilled with most of my shots today. I did kind of like this one of the chains on the swingset in my backyard. I know... practice...practice!:)

really like your DOF on this one. and the slight reflection of the blue in the link gives it a lot of character. looks like you're giving that lens a great workout!

I think this is a very clever shot for a macro lens! I don't know if you have a canon or a nikon, but there's a great macro forum at nikonians.org.

Your DOF is really working to your advantage here, I love it! I have noticed that with macro you have to stop down a lot more than normal to get more in focus... something to do with you having to get closer for macro shots? Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there in case it helps you! :)

Great DOF and focus on this, Margaret. I really like how it isolates a couple of links...
