Nate

Since the theme for this week is happy, I just have to post this shot of Nate and write why he makes me so happy.

I took this shot last week so we could submit it with his missionary paperwork. In the next few months, he will leave for two years to serve a mission for our church. I am happy that he has had this goal since he was just a little boy. I am happy that he will have many new, wonderful experiences serving his mission. I am happy he is setting such a good example for his younger brothers and sister. He is a wonderful big brother and son.

And to fluff my proud mommy feathers just a little more, I'm happy to report that Nate received a letter from BYU's College of Engineering and Technology notifying him that he made the Dean's list. To qualify, students had to have a 3.96 GPA or higher, and were in the top 6th percentile.

Way to go, Nate! Love you!

Yes, I still love you. I was just going to call you a bad parent for raising a Yankee fan, but Nate's accomplishments sort of negate that. ;-) Actually, I can tolerate a Yankee fan if they're not from New England. People who are from New England but claim to be Yankee fans irritate me. I'm a total homer. :-)
