When it comes to cars, I really love all the details, so a lot of the shots I took were closeups of different parts of the cars.
Gotta love the classic Mustang.
Although your reflection in a car isn't exactly the most flattering, I thought it was pretty funny. Better than a fun house mirror.
More fun closeups.
Nothin' says fun in a small town on a Friday night than a burnout contest. This car was the winner. Apparently, the driver won a gift certificate to a local tire store. He'll need some new tires judging by the skid marks he left on the road.
One of Nate's favorite cars of the night.
Here's a license plate with some attitude.

Cool shots!! My son would love to go to a car show
These are really great! I like the details too! Nice joB!
So funny because I post on my blog about a car show we went to!! Love your shots!
That's great you got some quality time in. I love the vintagy feel to these.
Sounds JUST like my little brother! He just graduated w/ a degree in auto body repair. . .
I have always liked a clean car, as well. :)
Wonderful details! Love the reflection. ;)
cool reflection shot!
I like the details, too. Had to laugh at the prize for the burnout contest, and that license plate is a stitch.
Cool shots.
Looks like you two had a great time. There is nothing like a classic Mustang nice.
The idea of a little guy asking, "What kind of car do you drive?" just cracks me. Such a great mental image. My car would horrify your son--you'd never be able to get a reflection shot in it.
These are FABULOUS! I love that classic mustang, my dad has a '68 and it is his BABY. I should get some shots of him with it!
Such creative, interesting, details! You have such nice POV in these photos. I wish I knew as much about cars as the two of you!
what great car pics! definitely looks like you got to see a lot of variety!
Cool shots!
