Bountiful Sunflower

So, it's been a while since I've blogged. Shocking, since my life is so exciting....

Things are moving at a pretty crazy pace here right now. Just a little over two weeks and Nate will be leaving for his mission. Wowie wow wow, as Junie B. Jones would say. I am starting to panic...Which reminds me, I still need to order those fleece-lined thermals. I'll get right on that. And by the way, you'd be surprised how difficult it is to find fleece-lined thermals. I found a few websites that sell them, but they were only in sizes 3X and 2X...just a little too large for Nate.:)

Our weekend turned out to be pretty exciting, too. Derek was called to be the 2nd counselor in the bishopric. He was quite surprised by that. I know he will do a wonderful job and I am so glad he will have a chance to work closely with Bishop Gibbons.

Here's a shot I took a few days ago. One of my favorite things about this time of year in Bountiful is all the sunflowers blooming everywhere. This little flower definitely looks like it's on top of the world!
