So, what do I do to amuse myself while I'm at a track meet waiting for Parker's turn to run? I take pictures of the back of people's shirts, of course. You can find all kinds of great humor and inspiration doing that.
And other benefit....when I take pictures of people's backs, they don't know I'm doing it, so they don't give me that "Get that camera outta my face, lady," look. :)

I LOVE this series...what a great idea!
These are great!
I love that you captured these! You're surrounded by some pretty inspirational people's backs ;)
what fun sayings you caught! and I love the idea of photographing the back of them. I'll have to remember that.
What a great idea! I remember getting those type of shirts when I ran and thought it was so cool. Anyone remember the 'No Fear' t-shirts you could buy? Loved them in jr. high! Thanks for sharing all the thoughts! And for how silly the shots, you had great composition!
Great idea. Love reading the shirts too!
What a great idea! Love some of those shirts.
WOW...I love the montage of shirts you have collected photographically. Those are just amazing. I really love sports so much, but those meets can be boring (even for a runner). Its great that you found something to entertain yourself.
Oh wow lol, I never thought to do this. It's funny how many people wear shirts with words on them!
What a great idea. It would be interesting to see the different kinds of t-shirts you'd see at different events. I'm going to have to give this a try.
How fun, I really enjoyed reading those tee-shirts! :)
How cool! I wish my son's team had made up shirts like this! (this was for a team, right?)
Margaret, I just came back to add that my book club is reading the same book! I've just started it. . . .
