Parker competed recently in an indoor track meet at the Olympic Oval in Salt Lake City, which is where the speed skating events took place during the 2002 Winter Olympics.
It's always fun to come to this venue. The running track is built around the outside of the ice rink. Usually when we are there, we see skaters practicing. Just when you think the runners are going fast, a speed skater on the inner rink will zip past at amazing speed.
Parker ran his season best at this meet. He's actually competing there again this weekend again in a different meet, so there may be some familiar looking pictures again in a few days.
