Parker ran in one of three heats with the top 36 milers on Saturday. He ended up finishing in 4:37.14, which is just a fraction off his personal record of 4:36.90. He came in 19th overall.
I just can't believe you can get this shots---I would be so busy screaming and cheering that I'd forget, or my shots would be a hot mess. Way to go, Parker! That's a good showing against the top milers.
