Here are some of Mallory dancing. Her class got to perform their Christmas dance en pointe. They are thrilled they will also be able to perform en pointe for the first time in their spring recital.
I don't know too much about ballet, but I have heard that dancing en pointe for the first time is a really big deal! How exciting! Congratulations to your daughter! She looks so lovely!
I remember when I was a young girl taking dance - getting to dance en pointe was HUGE. I practiced everywhere, all the time. Of course, I did the same with tap - which is why they would reside on the top of the kitchen cabinets between classes after awhile. I love the composition of your last shot.

These are all so great! I love the shoe shot. I have tried a shoe shot with my daughter and its much harder with the little ballerinas!
