I got to share in that excitement -- and feel again the bubbling-over emotions I had when Nate came home 6 months ago. (yes...can you believe it's been that long?).
My friend Shantel and her family welcomed home Elder Urry yesterday. Such an exciting time.
I was there to capture the arrival, enabling Shantel, a fellow photographer, to just enjoy the moment without worrying about her camera. My awesome friends Janae and Tracy did the same for me when Nate came home, and it was wonderful. I was more than happy to be there for Shantel.
Happy tears all around.
Welcome home, Elder Urry!

Congratulations to Elder Urry - and you captured so much emotion in these photos - Shantel's expressions say it all. Bless you Margaret.
side note - we are STILL looking at dresses. I have several gray hairs dedicated to Prom and Prom only! She decided not to order because of the very lengthy delay in shipping and worried it wouldn't be here in time - but I wanted to thank you again for the links.
Margaret, what a wonderful thing to do! These shots really capture all the love and joy and emotion that boils over when you see your son/brother/grandson walking down that jetway. Made me teary looking at them and remembering when my son came home, and it's been about 5 1/2 years. You never forget that moment when you see him.
Margaret, the emotion that everyone was feeling comes through in each picture. Great job!
The look on Shantel's face says it all! Priceless....and I got all teary-eyed looking at these - in a good way!!
